Welcome to my new Flora series of paintings, taking a new and different direction in my art. These paintings reflect my 40-plus years as a commercial graphic designer and bring together my professional past and my present passion. With Flora, I’m incorporating my design discipline with my continuing artistic development. Because these feel more personal, they are named rather than numbered. Each painting has the prefix “flora" with a suffix that rolled off the tongue as the composition evolved. I hope you enjoy this new series.
